5THIS is what a security cable lock should be..
By Kevin S. Watson
this is a big, bulky, well made cable lock. I feel secure when locking my 2 motorcycles together. I'm sure it COULD be cut, but not by your typical thief.

4Very sturdy
By Mc7517
The cable is quite large compared to anything I have seen in the store, it feels very heavy duty and would be difficult to cut because of its size, the u-lock is very heavy duty as well but looks like it might be a tight fit when attaching it to a tie down point in the bed of my truck because of how short the U bar appears to be because of its size , still a very good product

4Good Security, Limited Convenience
By Often in error; never in doubt
First, no cable is as secure as hardened chain, but this cable is lighter and more manageable than 10 or 12 mm chain, even though It's still stiff and awkward to carry on a bicycle; It's massive size is a strong theft deterrent. Even though cable can be cut with bolt cutters, this 3/4" cable would require a thief to carry large, noticeable cutters. I will use it to secure two bicycles to my bike rack and travel trailer, so I won't carry it on a bike. When unlocked, the shackle completely separates from the lock body. This makes it a challenge to lock again because you must hold the shackle in place on the lock with one hand, while turning the key to lock it with the other hand.
